ProKote AFI is a 'heavy-duty' industrial metal treatment specially formulated to provide your equipment and machinery with long-term anti-friction protection. It is used as an outstanding EP (Extreme Pressure) and anti-wear agent in a variety of base lubricants, such as crankcase oils, lubricating greases, automotive and industrial gear oils and metalworking lubricants. Its antioxidant and bearing corrosion properties are similar to those of zinc dithiophosphates. Independent tests indicate that friction can be reduced drastically, and consequently anti-friction properties under EP (Extreme Pressure) loads can be increased, in some cases up to 220% (ASTM D-2783). How it Works Most of the wear in an internal combustion engine is caused by the friction and heat of its moving parts. During initial start-ups the friction and wear between the metal surfaces can increase 10 times… and even more. ProKote AFI is a new-generation 'heavy-duty' anti-friction synthetic lubricant for industrial use that bonds to metal surfaces and stays there long after oil changes. Its properties allow it to adhere to the internal surfaces of equipment and machinery, providing a micro-thin coating that helps reduce friction far beyond the ability of regular oils. |

Besides
it's use in engines, ProKote AFI may be used
effectively in many other areas of machinery and equipment, such
as differentials, gearboxes, manual transmissions, bearings, machine
tools, marine and mining equipment, pumps and sumps, and in many
more industrial applications… |
CRANKCASE or OIL RESERVOIR: Add two (2) ounces of ProKote AFI per every quart (or liter) of oil while performing oil changes. (Do not exceed sump recommended capacity). Note:
For maximum performance, repeat every 2,500 hours. Under extreme
conditions, repeat every 750 hours. |
